Joe is a Jiu Jitsu fighter!  He is 17 years old and has been training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Grappling for the last 11 years of his life. He started training at age 6 and is currently a blue belt under John Hassett and fights for Team Balance. He is a multiple time Grapplers Quest and NAGA champion as well as 2 time Pan Nogi Medalist (Gold in 2009, Silver in 2010) and IBJJF New York Open Champion.  Basically, jiujitsu is his life!!

Joe has one goal and that goal is to be a champion and tries to compete in every tournament he can.  He has been competing in the adult division since he was just 15, and has been competing in the Advanced division for the last year.
